OTAP is a series of small tables and chairs for Cruso, distinguished by their elegant simplicity and the intrinsic quality of the materials used. They are versatile and combinable and can be used alone or in combinations, in both public and home settings. Designed by Julien Renault.
Their architecture is the result of a question surrounding production. To improve and simplify the production process as much as possible, the tables and chairs are constructed with a limited number of treated panels of wood fibers of large colours.
The tables are made in Belgium and are delivered flat packed. Can be quickly assembled using self-tightening connectors. OTAP is available in 4 sizes and 7 colours.
Julien Renaud is a multidisciplinary designer based in Brussels. Trained at both the Reims School of Art and Design (France) and the École Cantonale in Lausanne (Switzerland), his work lies at the intersection of an artistic, free and personal approach, and a more systemic, objective and rational approach. design. Although each project is based on enhanced vision, it demonstrates a keen awareness of the interconnectedness of objects and their environment as well as their unconscious influence on our daily lives. The Renault studio is located on the famous Cogne square in Brussels and is growing steadily thanks to long-standing collaborations with brands such as Cruso, Hay, Hem, Kewlox, Massproductions and Mattiazzi.
