In the fall, but also in other seasons, you can have fun on the golf courses in Arona, Stresa, Luvinate, Varese, Solbiate Olona, Bogogno and Agrate Conturbia, both in Italy and Switzerland. Then there are great excursions to enjoy in all seasons: to the Borromean Islands, with its enchanting Borromeo Palace and its gardens, to the Brissago Islands, the Santa Caterina Museum, Ronco sopra Ascona, and to the Canton Botanical Gardens. Due to the location of the nearby Malpensa International Airport, Lake Maggiore is easily accessible from all over the world. You are also in Via Linate, the other airport in Milan no time at your destination. If you come by train, it is more convenient to travel from Milan to Domodossola, or from Paris by TGV, with a change in Basel or Geneva. There are two main connections if you come by car: the A8 motorway and the A26 Genoa-Gravellona Toce motorway.
