Mission H2 Presents the ‘Together We Make Hydrogen Land in The Netherlands’ Campaign
With less than 100 days left until the end of the postponed Olympic Games in Tokyo, the first runners of the Netherlands Hydrogen are seizing the opportunity to draw attention to the Netherlands’ strength as a hydrogen-powered nation. Titled Mission H2, an initiative of Gasunie, Groningen Seaports, Remeha, Shell, Stedin Group, Toyota and Port of Amsterdam, along with TeamNL ambassadors, hydrogen awareness is being generated as one of the pillars of the Netherlands’ climate ambitions. The campaign with the message “Together we make hydrogen land in the Netherlands” was launched today.
In the campaign, Olympic athletes Marit Baumeister, Kiran Padlow, Virey Wertmann and other Olympic and Paralympic water sports champions have shown that if we choose a course now, we will all test hydrogen energy together.
Olko Vermeulen, Board of Directors of Gasunie, Partner of Mission H2: “The comparison between hydrogen transformation and premium sport is perfect. Today, the national sports federations, the Olympic committees, the Paralympics and above all athletes are preparing with total dedication and unity for the largest sporting event in the world. That is exactly why we are committed now. “With a green future with full hydrogen with energy. The government, business and knowledge must now show the same vision, focus and decisiveness as our best athletes. We will not make it less than that.”
