After allegations of sexual assault against Dieter Villalbando, Chivas decided to terminate his contract as announced by President Amore Vergara.

They also announced that Javier Lopez, Jose Juan Vasquez and Alexis Peña had been suspended and transferred due to acts of indiscipline.

The referee of this match will be Fernando Hernandez Gomez.
