Detroit beat the Falcons 23-22 at the bell last week. Matthew Stafford threw 340 yards and one drop, to lead Lions down the field in the 30th return and 36th win in the midfielder’s career. Defense was strong again against running. While there were problems covering passes, the lion was still able to bend without breaking, raising Atlanta’s dangerous attack to 22 points.
The Lions are close to their health, as corner back Justin Coleman activated from the injured reserve over the weekend. Coleman returned to training last week and continues to make a comeback with corner teammate Desmond Trofant. Indianapolis, on the other hand, comes to this restaurant a little after the week farewell. The Colts won the last time, wiping out a 21-0 comeback to defeat the Bengals at Lucas Oil Stadium. Philip Rivers is the midfielder for Colts, for those who live under a rock, but they’re all about their defense in 2020. This group ranks near the top of the league, no matter how divided. They are strong against running and passing and have the ball Falcons secondarily with 10 leading league interceptions.
I look forward: Lions will have to fight a solid defense for the colts in the eighth week
