Milking and feeding equipment supplier GEA and specialist cow management software developer Uniform-Agri will work closely together on their management systems. Systems data becomes interchangeable.
Through this partnership, dairy farmers can operate GEA equipment in tandem with the comprehensive analytics of the Uniform Agri programme.
The interface makes data from the GEA DairyNet system interchangeable with Uniform Agri software. Dairy farms already using Uniform-Agri as their main cow management system can integrate data from GEA equipment into them. “And all this without compromising the benefits and future developments of our GEA DairyNet system,” explains Holger Siegworth, Vice President of GEA.
Avoid double entry
Contemporary dairy farmers who are faced with increased management work will benefit greatly from this cooperation. Harm-Jan van der Beek from Uniform-Agri adds that it prevents double or triple input of data on the farm.
The GEA and Uniform-Agri systems enable dairy farmers to integrate different equipment, dealers and milk registration organizations across the world. Rolling out will begin this fall in Austria, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
