Mary Trump, the President’s niece and the daughter of his late more mature brother, Fred Trump Jr., has penned a book described as a “revelatory, authoritative portrait of Donald J. Trump and the harmful family that made him.” The book is set to be launched on July 28, in accordance to the book’s publisher Simon & Schuster.
Simon & Schuster declined to comment Sunday evening. CNN experienced previously achieved out to Mary Trump for comment.
Trump has dealt with various unflattering portrayals of his presidency penned by previous staffers, including a quickly-to-be published guide by previous countrywide protection adviser John Bolton. Mary Trump’s e book is the first from a spouse and children member that criticizes the President.
The President has not go through his niece’s upcoming ebook, White Dwelling press secretary Kayleigh McEnany reported Friday.
In accordance to the book’s description, Mary Trump recounts how her uncle “dismissed and derided” his father, Fred Trump Sr., “when he began to succumb to Alzheimer’s.”
