– A wonderfully talented companion in both speed and technical skills. He has good experiences from abroad in countries such as Italy, the Netherlands and Switzerland, so we are now looking forward to seeing Zekhnini in action. That’s a very exciting signature, says Ole-Erik Stavrum, CEO of his generator.
Zakini visited Molde earlier this summer and took part in a training session at the club. The newspaper on the Internet learned that he arrived at Molde by plane on Sunday, and now the agreement has been concluded.
Wen Gen arrives at Elzer, the Norwegian league leader, who suffered a shock 3-2 loss to the Vikings on Sunday. Molde has a five-point lead over Bodo/Glimt in second.
Zekhnini was brought up by Fiorentina, with whom he has been linked since 2017, after splitting from Odd at a young age.
The 23-year-old made a name for himself in Odd’s infamous Europa League playoff match against Borussia Dortmund and was later sold to Italy’s Fiorentina.
Last season he was loaned to Lausanne Sport in Switzerland where he scored two goals in 15 matches. He was also previously loaned to Twente in the Netherlands and also made a brief stay with Rosenborg in 2018.
In Fiorentina, there was only one official match for Zakenen, who played several matches with the Norway national team.
