Today, Sunday, June 2, is perhaps the most important day of the NDB rankings season. The Dutch Championship will then be held at the Hunderdal Health Center in Dribergen-Riesenburg. Which players will win important national titles and who will be able to call themselves standings champions for a year? The National Championships is the sixth ranking championship for the 2023/2024 season. Below you can read which players are still in contention for national ranking titles.

the elderly
Wesley Plesser can no longer miss the men's classification tournament. Wesley is having a great season and has won the last three classification tournaments in a row! With 150 points, he is at least 45 points ahead of the second-place finisher: Johan Breuer (105). In third place we find Denny Oldie Culture with 95 points.
With B guys it's still very exciting. There are many contenders for the title. Wesley Mall currently sits in first place in the rankings with 91 points. Just behind that we find Mike Everts (90) and Stumpy Jr. (89). But Machel Stoffers (85) and Robert Keefe (76) are also far from having no chance of the classification championship. The winner of NK Darts can easily walk away with the ranking title.
Women's Championship between Elin De Graaf and Noa-Lynn Van Leuven. De Graaf leads the classification with 160 points. She won two classifications this season and reached the finals twice as well. On the other hand, Van Leuven (150 points) won three titles and a place in the final. Adriana van Wijgerden-Vermaat (105) and Priscilla Steenbergen (105) are far behind the competition.

The Junior Championship is still fully open. There are three players remaining who have the best chance of winning the title. Kendji Steinbach and Massimo Balsamo top the list with 135 points. Kendji won two classification tournaments this season. Massimo won the classification and was in the final again. Right behind the pair is Dan Toxobius. He collected 130 points and still has every chance of winning the classification championship.
Fardau de Jong takes first place in the girls classification tournament. She is excelling this season and has won four of the five classification tournaments. This win streak is good for a total of 170 points. However, Daphne Kamen is not far behind Verdau with 150 points. Daphne won the classification this season and reached the final two more times. Michelle Krug (135) also has a chance to win the classification championship.
Who will become the champion of the rankings among the hopefuls? The devil is clearly on his tail this season. Stan Diericks (140 points), Keanu van Deventer (135 points) and Egbert Weithar (130 points) are all very close to each other. Just behind, Kai Shorebirs (120 points) and Shivam Gujar (120 points) also have every chance of winning the ranking title. Shivam was the only player to win two ranking tournaments this season. Stan, Keanu and Egbert also won the classification championship this year.
Paradarters and special offers
The Paradarters Championship (standing) is likely to be between ranked holder Micholovic van Velzen and Stefan Bakker. Michelovic at 160 points. Stefan has collected 155 points this season. Both men have won two ranking tournaments this year and have also reached the final twice. Cliff Reuter (115 points) and Reggie van Brink (114 points) are very far from having a chance to win the classification championship.
Also in Paradarters (The Wheelchair) the championship battle appears to be taking place between two men. Michel van den Hengel leads the standings with 165 points. He is the best so far this season and has won no less than three classification tournaments. However, Karel Scholten is still close with 155 points and has every chance of winning the ranking title. Karel won two classifications this year and was also a finalist twice. Anton van Hemert (125 points) is in third place and appears to be a long way behind the two men above him.
In the specials, Wesley Dean has the best qualifications to become a hero. Wesley won three classification tournaments this season and earned 155 points. This means that the ranking title is already secure with a good result in the national championship next weekend. Jeffrey Willink is far behind with 130 points, but still has a chance to win the title. This also applies to a lesser extent to Casimir Kars (125 points). Both Jeffrey and Casimir have reached the final of the classification tournament twice this season.
