The timed messaging feature of WhatsApp was launched a while ago. Users can send timed messages via WhatsApp by activating the timed messages feature.
When this feature is enabled, new messages sent in chat disappear after seven days. Messages sent or received before time-limited messages were enabled are not affected by this selection.
According to Haber Global, WhatsApp is preparing to add new options for the 7-day deletion period.
As per the change detected by WABetaInfo in beta version 2.21.200.11 of WhatsApp, the duration option increases to 3.
Accordingly, users will be able to choose between 24 hours, 7 days or 90 days when sending timed messages.
The feature is still being tested and it is not known when it will be available to all users.
