The Netherlands missed a great opportunity on Friday to qualify for the European Championship. A home win over Italy would have been enough, but no goals were scored in Sittard. Due to the draw in Bergen, the Netherlands and Italy, who beat Finland, qualify for Euro 2025 in Switzerland. Norway and Finland can also claim a ticket, but they must do so in the qualifiers. The Netherlands will be spared.
