Orange-Red is back in a winning mood. After last week’s draw against Amsterdam, Robert van der Horst’s side scored a convincing win on Saturday. Young Switzerland was beaten 1-5.
It was all about being able to look up or down. In ninth place, Klein Zweitzerland – two points lower – was on the heels of PSV Eindhoven. With the victory, Orange-Red manages to get some air and try to contact the sub-summit. In The Hague, Orange-Road had little sympathy for KZ. Jimmy Van Art broke the spell after 22 minutes. Thomas Brilles and Jim Van De Vin took a comfortable 0-3 lead within half an hour.
Thibaut Stockbroiks scored 0-4 in the 52nd minute. The honor’s goal for little Switzerland came four minutes from time. Brilles took care of the final score 1-5 from the penalty spot.
Due to the win, the Orange-Reds remained in seventh place. Sixth seed Den Bosch also won and remains one place ahead with an equal number of points. On Sunday, Eindhoven residents will visit Almere.
