Passengers screamed early this week on a plane from Tampa to Newark, near New York in the United States. A snake had squeezed inside and was crawling among the passengers.
In the past, it was a snake or a snake. A harmless beast but the passengers didn’t know it. The crawler crawled across business class, which the crew soon learned about thanks to the screams of passengers. Fortunately for them, it only happened during taxi rides after landing.
Washington Post He writes about the incident and checks that the snake is not venomous or aggressive towards humans. It is usually half a meter long. They sometimes bite, but only if they feel trapped.
After the United Airlines crew notified the authorities in Newark, airport workers came to catch the snake. The animal was released into nature. No one was hurt, and the plane flew an hour later than planned.
Happens often
It often happens that snakes inadvertently go on planes. In 2017, someone was sleeping behind a passenger. Then a flight attendant grabbed the monster, put it in a suitcase, and brought it back to the baggage compartment above the seats for the rest of the flight.
In 2016, passengers in Mexico were shocked when a live snake fell from luggage racks. Here, too, all passengers escaped unharmed: the plane was given priority on landing and a professional snake hunter removed the animal.
