The first season consists of ten episodes and follows Joel Miller. He must smuggle a very important teenage girl, Ellie, across the country. It can help treat the infection that has hit the United States.
The main roles in the series are Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsay. They play the roles of Joel and Ellie. Furthermore, Nico Parker can be seen as Sarah (Joel’s daughter), Gabriel Luna plays the service brother Tommy, and Anna Torv can be seen as Tess and Merle Dandridge play Marilyn (who is voiced in the game).
