Pinoké is the new leader of the Tulp Hoofdklasse Men. The national champion won the summit match against Orangi Road (1-2) on Saturday evening in Eindhoven. The promoted Larin made a stunt in the sixth round of the bout. Coach Lucas Rey’s team achieved its first victory this season by defeating Klein Switzerland (1-2) in The Hague.
The first match in Eindhoven was decided in Benoki’s favour. It meant another home defeat for the Orange-Red after nearly two years. Pinocchi, without the injured Alexander Hendricks, laid the foundation for the victory in the third quarter by scoring two goals in the space of five minutes. This is the sixth win in six matches for the national champion. This makes the new leader the only team in the Tulp Hoofdklasse not to lose any points.

The promoter Larin claimed his first win of the season in The Hague. This was the first win in the Tulp Hoofdklasse since 29 November 2013 (2-1 vs. Schaeweijde). Moreover, Laren celebrated another achievement. Never before has a Gooise team beaten Little Switzerland at the highest level. The winning goal came from Facundo Zarate’s stick just before the end. Small Switzerland suffered its second defeat in three matches and fell from third to fifth place.
The 95th meeting between Bloemendaal and HGC ended in a draw. In autumn-like conditions, Bloemendaal appeared to be heading for a small home victory. Five minutes before the end, Sivi van As scored the equalizer from a penalty kick. With the points split, HGC continued their good run. Seven points were achieved in the last three matches of the competition. Bloemendaal, who took over without the injured Arthur van Doren, lost points for the second time in five matches, but nevertheless rose to fourth place at the expense of Little Switzerland.
The last four matches in Klapperboom between Kampong and HDM were a guarantee of goals: 6-5, 6-1, 4-0 and 3-0. This time too, there was a lot of scoring. The match ended with the kampung winning 5-4. Three of Utrecht’s five goals came from Jeb Janssen. His second of the three goals marked his 100th goal from a corner kick. With this victory, Kampung avenged its 4-1 loss to Den Bosch last Thursday. HDM was left empty-handed after the doubles weekend.
After two successive defeats, Rotterdam left the field with all the spoils. Den Bosch lost 2-1. The opening goal of the match was scored by Jeroen Hertzberger. The Rotterdam captain is now just four goals away from improving the Tulp Hoofdklasse’s eternal goalscoring record. With 346 goals, that one is still in Roderick Westhoff’s name. The Rotterdam team rose from fifth to third place in the classification. After their fourth defeat this season, Den Bosch fell one place from seventh to eighth.
After three consecutive heavy defeats, Amsterdam finally achieved another victory. They won 4-1 over last-placed Schaerweijde, who are still without points after six days of matches. Amsterdam rose to ninth place in the rankings at the expense of HDM. Two of Amsterdam’s goals were scored by Boris Burckhardt. He is still one goal away from his 50th goal in an Amsterdam shirt.
