The Portugal Grand Prix will be the third race of the 2021 F1 season. The race will take place at Portimao on May 2.
In October, Formula 1 returned to Portugal after 25 years. The original 2021 calendar had no place for Portugal, but F1 wanted to bring the race back into the calendar after the race in Australia was postponed and China canceled altogether. F1 has now confirmed that the Grand Prix will be held over the weekend from April 30 to May 2.

“We are delighted that Formula 1 will start racing again at Portimao, and we hope to safely welcome fans to Portimao this season, and we are working with the promoter on this plan,” said Stefano Domenicali, Formula 1 President and CEO.
