“unforgettable experience”
Philipp van Parijs, professor emeritus of philosophy at the University of Leuven, tells VRT that he expects Elisabeth's training at Harvard to be an “unforgettable experience” for her. “Not only is it an honor to be at such an elite university, but Elizabeth will also come into contact with the most interesting people from all over the world. The professors are of very high quality and things always make something happen.”
education
This is not the first time that Princess Elizabeth has traveled abroad for training. She previously obtained a BA in History and Politics from the University of Oxford, UK. She also completed military training at the Royal Military School in Belgium. Property expert Joe de Porter tells RTL News that there is a logical explanation for the fact that Elizabeth is now traveling abroad again for training: she is less well known there. “It is therefore an option that ensures peace and tranquility in the life of the heir to the throne, so that he can live a relatively normal student life.”

Princess Elizabeth is not the first member of the Belgian royal family to study at Harvard. Prince Joachim, Princess Astrid's son, graduated there in 2021. Elizabeth's father, King Philip, also studied in the United States, but at Stanford University.
