Milan lost a training match to Italian club Roma in the Australian city of Perth, 5-2, on Friday. Tijani Reynders played 67 minutes.
Three goals were scored in the first half. Tommaso Baldance scored the first goal of the match, then Theo Hernandez equalized the score. Tammy Abraham made it 2-1 before halftime.
Angelino made it 3-1 approximately ten minutes after the end of the first half. Noah Okafor then brought tension back into the match on behalf of Milan. Thanks to goals from Paulo Dybala and Serdar Azmoun, Daniele De Rossi's side finished the match with a score of 5-2.
Kevin Zeroli replaced Reinders in the second half. The Dutch midfielder was summoned to participate in the European Championship in Germany, but he missed part of the preparations due to his trip with Milan. He will join on June 7, the day after the friendly match against Canada.
National coach Ronald Koeman would have preferred that Reinders not travel to Australia at all. “They went to Australia, and we can only call up these players on June 3,” Koeman said in a press conference earlier this week.
