Samsung tipster reveals the big change that will happen to Galaxy S22 5G screens

Even taking into account the different angles of both images, the 2022 models have more rounded corners than last year’s models and the bezels remain very thin. The Galaxy S22 series’ aspect ratio is rumored to drop to 19.5:9 from 20:9 last year.

The Galaxy S22 line, which includes the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S 22 Ultra, is expected to feature punch-hole selfies on the front on all three models instead of the camera at the bottom of the screen. Speaking of cameras, the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ can have a 50MP primary camera, with both models featuring Samsung’s ISOCELL GN5 sensor with omnidirectional autofocus and 1.0µm pixels.

This year, the Exynos 2200 will feature a graphics processing unit (GPU) made by Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).

Negotiations are said to be taking place between Verizon and Samsung. Part of the reason Samsung is being more stingy than usual with Exynos APs may have to do with a global chip shortage. In addition, there were some issues related to low productivity and other production issues. Samsung Foundry is the second largest independent foundry in the world after TSMC and the largest contract foundry in the world.

The reason for Verizon’s request may have something to do with the Exynos 2200 which uses an AMD GPU. The Snapdragon 898 will use Qualcomm’s latest Adreno GPU. Last year, the Exynos 2100 SoC had a Mali-G78 MP14 GPU designed by ARM Holdings.

The Galaxy S21 line was introduced on January 14, 2021 and released on January 29 this year. We can see a similar reveal and release date for the Galaxy S22 series.
