The new pair of hands-on images not only show what the classic version of the smartwatch will look like, but also what the user interface will look like.
Both pictures from 91mobiles only show some settings. At first glance, the interface elements differ markedly compared to the traditional aesthetics of Wear OS, according to this IT magazine. This is Samsung’s Tizen via Wear OS, the first software of its kind for both wearable tech platforms.
As for the devices themselves, the information circulated on the Internet so far has been confirmed. Galaxy Watch 4 Classic comes in silver and black colors and in multiple size options. The smartwatch will have two physical buttons, top and bottom, and they are expected to have a flat design.
Although not seen from still images, the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic also has a bezel that actually rotates, and this feature wouldn’t be present on the “regular” Galaxy Watch 4.
Interest in Samsung’s next smartwatch has increased thanks to the confirmation that it will run on Google’s Wear OS, rather than the local Tizen OS. These are the specifications, the smartwatch is also expected to come with more memory and a faster processor. It remains to be seen how the connection of these two operating systems will work for wearables, but fortunately, we won’t have to wait long for that.
