Ubisoft today announced this Scott Pilgrim versus the World: The Game Full version, A re-release of the long-deleted 2010 video game Scott Pilgrim versus the World: The Game, Will be officially launched on January 14th for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia. The Ubisoft Forward re-release was first announced during September with a launch window in Holiday 2020.
the new Full version Includes the original Scott Pilgrim versus the World: The Game Plus two DLC packages that include Knives Chau and Wallace Wells. The game is a 2D arcade-style beat-em-up based on the movie of the same name that largely follows Scott Pilgrim’s plot illustrated by creator Bryan Lee O’Malley. While the title was canceled for many years, the title received much praise for the gameplay and soundtrack from Anamanaguchi.
The announcement of the re-release came at a convenient time as 2020 marks its tenth anniversary. While the release itself may have slipped out that window into early January, the fact that it ever happened after years of radio silence is unbelievable regardless. Both the film itself, directed by Edgar Wright, and the video game have become cult classics since its first release.
