Relatives of Queen Elizabeth travel across the UK on Saturday to attend the various festivities. Festivities are organized to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s accession to the throne. Prince Edward and his wife Sophie have arrived in Northern Ireland and Princess Anne visited a zoo in Scotland on Saturday morning.
Prince George, 8, and Princess Charlotte, 7, are in Wales with their parents, Prince William and Catherine, to celebrate their platinum birthday. The footage shows the two oldest children of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge getting out of the car in which the family arrived at Cardiff Castle.

Prince Edward and his wife Sophie competed in a cooking competition. The competition was about making the best omelette. Dressed in identical cooking aprons, the royals did so under the guidance of chef Jean-Christophe Novelli. The Daily Mail wrote that they were eventually declared winners.
While visiting Bangor, Queen Elizabeth’s youngest son also tapped Guinness beer. In Belfast, the Earl and Countess of Wessex sampled a local delicacy, the Belfast bun, a crunchy white bun. The British Royal Family thanked Belfast and Bangor for the warm welcome via social media.
Princess Anne presented a trophy to Richard Kingscott. He is the winning horse rider in the Epsom Derby. Pictures show Prince Charles’ sister handing the statue to the knight with a smile. The horse, called Desert Crown, was trained by Sir Michael Stout.
Queen Elizabeth’s only daughter attended the race in place of her mother. Queen Elizabeth watched the race from Windsor Castle.

Thursday’s celebrations began with a military parade of the “Color Band”, which Elizabeth also attended. Due to her fragile health, the Queen was forced on Friday to miss a prayer of thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral in London.
Due to her health, Buckingham Palace always gives short notice of whether or not Elizabeth will be attending an event.
