Studium Generale of Eindhoven University of Technology (TU / e) is organizing a small-size film festival next week from Monday to Wednesday with three urgent and high-profile documentaries.
From home, people can watch three new documentaries that were also shown at the recent IDFA Film Festival (online). Then, questions can be asked to the director or expert.
The documentary is on Monday at 8 pm. White noiseOn the rise of far-right nationalism in the United States. Take the scenes to the heart of the action through a number of die-hard Donald Trump supporters. There is a later conversation with director Daniel Lombroso.
Inside the red brick wall, On Tuesday at 8 p.m., a report of student protests at Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2019 resulted in violent police crackdown. There is a subsequent conversation with digital rights activist Glacier Kwong from Hong Kong.
On Wednesday (8pm), Oeconomia offers a glimpse into the engine room of our capitalist system. Here there will be a discussion with economist Dirk Bizimer.
Tickets are free, but reservation is required. A live broadcast link will be emailed to the visitor one hour before the start.
