Various British media outlets have reported that Gareth Southgate will radically change the system for the match against Switzerland in the quarter-finals of Euro 2024. The England coach has been subject to much criticism in recent weeks, but for the first time it appears that the coach is making actual changes.
Jude Bellingham, the golden boy from Birmingham, carried the nation on his shoulders in the final round with a knockout. England were on the verge of elimination, but with twenty seconds left, a scissor kick from the Real Madrid midfielder sent Southgate and his team-mates into a state of euphoria. Harry Kane scored in extra time to make it 2-1, meaning England are now in the quarter-finals.

Marc Guehi is suspended for the Switzerland game, meaning Southgate wants to play with three defenders in the quarter-finals. There is reportedly room for Ezri Konsa in the starting line-up. The centre-back already played 15 minutes against Slovakia, but is likely to start against Switzerland.
England predicted lineup: Pickford, Walker, Stones, Konsa, Alexander-Arnold, Saka, Mainoo, Rice, Bellingham, Foden, Kane.
