A car belonging to the “Tuatara” company achieved a high speed of 455 km, breaking the world record for the “fastest vehicle” in the world.
And the company “SSC” announced, on Wednesday, that its supercar “Tuatara”, valued at $ 1.9 million, has become the fastest car in the world, after it recorded a speed of about 455 km per hour.
The car was provided with an 8-cylinder engine that generates power up to 1750 horsepower, knowing that the design of the vehicle took a decade, and was inspired by the designs of combat aircraft, according to Sky News.
This is the second time that the company says that the “Tuatara” broke the record as the fastest car in the world, as the company announced last October that the supercar had recorded a speed of 532 km per hour, with a test on a desert highway outside Las Vegas.
But the previously achieved figure was in doubt, after car enthusiasts noticed discrepancies with the speed data recorded on the Global Positioning System (GPS), which did not match the camera that documented the speed, in addition to a host of other reasons.
Last week, “Tuatara” went in opposite directions at the Kennedy Space Center, setting its new “documented” speed within an hour, breaking the world record for “fastest vehicle”.
