Showtime released the trailer for Super Pumping: The Battle for Uber, the upcoming anthology series starring Emmy Award winner Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Each season, the series explores a story that has rocked the business world and changed culture. The first part will be shown on February 27, 2022. The video shows the eccentric CEO of Uber, Travis Kalanick, leading the company to its highs and lows. The technology company Uber is not even fifteen years old and it is impossible to imagine everyday life without it.

Super Pumping: The Battle for Uber

super pumping is a season 1 anthology series based on Mike Isaac’s bestselling book Super Pumping: Uber Battle. Emmy Award winner Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Chicago trial 7) plays Travis Kalanick, the CEO of Uber who was eventually ousted in a boardroom coup. Uma Thurman (Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction) plays Arianna Huffington, a businesswoman and co-founder of The Huffington Post, who was a member of Uber’s board of directors.

super pumping It tells the story of one of Silicon Valley’s most successful and destructive companies, Uber. The series revolves around “Kalanick” and depicts the rollercoaster journey of the start-up transportation company. Amid the drastic upheaval taking place in the global tech capital of Silicon Valley, Uber is emerging as a miracle and a cautionary tale, with internal and external battles with unpredictable consequences.

The main roles are played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Uma Thurman, Keri Beshi, Babak Tafty, Kyle Chandler, Elizabeth Shaw, John Bass, Bridget Jaw Howlett.

Brian Koppelman, David Levien and Beth Schacter (soundtrack) will produce, write and act as antagonists for the series. Paul Schiff, Stephen Schiff and Alice Ozarsky will also carry out the production and Isaac will be involved in the implementation of the project.
