With so many great players, it could be argued that England are playing like a star at this European Championship. But there is no less true. National team coach Gareth Southgate has been unable to turn them into a real team. The Three Lions are lucky to have reached the quarter-finals at all. In the last match against Slovakia, it looked like they would go out 1-0. But at the last moment it was Jude Bellingham who saved the British from defeat. In the end, it was Harry Kane who decided the match in extra time.

Switzerland is the surprise
In contrast, Switzerland were the surprise package who managed to qualify for the quarter-finals. The group stage continued. They did well and in the eighth final the Swiss managed to send Italy home 2-0. The Swiss team, unlike the English team, plays as a unit and knows how to find their stars flawlessly. Will they be able to pull off another sensational feat against a top team?
