After the successful launch of her new album, it’s time for Taylor Swift to go on tour again, according to a message on her Instagram page. The first part of that tour is through the United States. Starting March 18th, Swift will be performing at stadiums across the country.
“I am excited to announce my next tour: The Taylor Swift | Eras Tour, a journey through the musical eras of my career (future and past!),” she wrote. “The first part of the tour will take place in stadiums across the US. International performance dates will be announced as soon as possible!” Swift describes herself as the luckiest person on earth, as she brings artists like Paramore, Phoebe Bridgers, and Heim & Gayle to her shows.
Taylor Swift released her 10th studio album Midnights last week, which is currently in the top 10 of the US Billboard Hot 100. The album’s other three songs take places 13, 14, and 15 and the seven additional songs on the extended version of the album can also be found in the Top 50. Filling the top 10 with a single artist is unique. Previously, the Beatles managed to occupy the top five, and last year Drake managed to get nine out of ten.
