Cheney, Weo – The Wyoming Cowboys (1-1) and CSU (0-1) soccer teams hope to add some normality to the world tonight as their rivalry that dates back to 1899 renewed.
The Cowboys enters the 112th edition of Border War by taking a short trip to Fort Collins tonight in hopes that they will add to their winning streak against the Rams. The last time Pokes lost to CSU was in 2015 when they were defeated 26-7 in Laramie.
Since that loss, the Cowboys have demanded the bronze shoe in four successive competitions, including last year’s match where they defeated the Rams 17-7 at War Memorial.

The Cowboys (1-1) enters the match after defeating 24 points against Hawaii last weekend as they scored nearly 300 yards against the Rainbow Warriors. The Rams (0-1) are still licking their wounds from the loss to Fresno.
Weather is not expected to be a factor in tonight’s match with mostly clear weather conditions and a low of around 38 is expected.
The Border War is scheduled to debut tonight at 7 pm at Canvas Stadium in Fort Collins. The game is broadcast on CBS Sports Network as well as on CBSSports.com.
