The popular Srebrenica movie “Quo Vadis, Aida?” , in which the Belgian Johann Hildenburg is played, among other things, by a major American distributor. Dutch co-producer N279 reports that Supert Ltd has acquired the rights to the Bosnian-Dutch co-production and is expected to release the drama in the United States within the year.
Director Jasmila Obanić’s film is about the fall of Srebrenica and the genocide perpetrated by Bosnian Serb forces. It killed more than 7,000 Muslim boys and men. Several Dutch actors can be seen in the film, such as Raymond Terry, Renott Bosemaker and Juda Goslinga. They play the Dutch blue helmets who had to protect the inhabitants of the enclave. Belgian actor Johan Heldenberg (54) also plays a supporting role in Quo vadis, Aida? As captain Thom Karremans.
