The preview sparked the storytelling that left fans hanging in the season 4 finale, including whether Madison (Caitlin Thompson) was Kevin’s fiancée (Justin Hartley). The preview also shows Randall wondering if he is sharing Kevin and Kate’s birthday. “I really won’t know what happened that day,” Randall says as the promo highlights a clip from young William (Jeremy Nakia). But it looks like we’ll find out more about Randall’s birthday. Still talking to TV Insider, Fogelman shared this is us The Season 5 premiere will give a lot of context to the day before [the kids’ birth]. ”
