The latest South Park movie will be released exclusively for Paramount+ in November. Outside the United States, you can also watch the movie in Scandinavia, Latin America, Australia, and Canada. The film is part of a big deal that South Park creators, Tray Parker and Matt Stone, signed with ViacomCBS. With this deal there will be no less than fourteen additional films and five seasons of the series. The first of these films is scheduled to be released on November 25. In the film, Stan Marsh, Kenny McCormick, Eric Cartman, and Kyle Broflovsky deal with the post-COVID world.
Not much is known about the movie yet: it only got a 10-second teaser in which I only watched the boys standing at the bus stop. A second movie is already planned for December, but nothing is known about it yet. Like South Park: Post Covid, it is likely about the pandemic in their fictional city in the US state of Colorado.
Fourteen films in total
The new Parker and Stone films will be slightly shorter than the first film of 1999 (South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut). That was 81 minutes of music. Stone and Parker plan to make films for about an hour. The directors’ goal is to release two films each year until 2027, with a total of fourteen films.
