During the European Championship quarter-final match between the Netherlands and Turkey, four players from the Dutch team must be on standby. Joey Veerman, Gerdy Schouten, Denzel Dumfries and Donyell Malen have received one yellow card so far and are therefore on standby.
The Netherlands face Turkey in the quarter-finals of the European Championship in Berlin at 9pm. If they win, Ronald Koeman's side will qualify for the semi-finals. Veerman, Schouten, Dumfries and Malen are on alert. Yellow card means suspension for a possible semi-final. Veerman was booked against Poland, Schouten against France, Dumfries and Malen against Romania.

Turkey had no fewer than eight players on standby ahead of the match against the Dutch national team. Ayhan, Ugurcan Cakir, Zeki Celik, Arda Guler, Mert Gunuk, Mert Muldur, Salih Ozcan, Kenan Yildiz all had to watch their step. Merih Demiral, Orkun Gokcu and Ismail Yuksek were already suspended for the sticker.
