With pain and difficulty, Van de Zandscholpe qualified for the second round at Wimbledon. Through tennis and character combat, he beat China’s Zhang Zhichen in five sets: 2-6, 7-6, 7-6, 3-6, 6-2. Because of the heavy rain, his game was moved, so he only played yesterday. As a result, he hardly got a day off.
The Van de Zandsholb vs Davidovich Fokina match is scheduled for around 1.30pm. The 27-year-old tennis player goes out to court 15. He is the only Dutchman left in singles. Greece’s Talon was killed in the first round on Wednesday, after postponing his match for at least 31 hours and is now taking a break. Newcomer Jess Brewer lost to Alexander Zverev yesterday.
In London, a large backlog must be cleared to complete the tournament within the planned two weeks. Many limbs were moved due to heavy rain. Heavy rains are also expected in London during the next week.
The Greek track is still in doubles
The Greek track will still compete in the men’s doubles at Wimbledon with compatriot Bart Stephens. In the first round, the Dutch pair will compete with Briton Joe Salisbury and American Rajeev Ram. This concert is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
