On November 22, 1963, the world was shocked by the assassination of the 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy. Less than an hour later, former soldier Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested, not only for Kennedy’s assassination, but also for the assassination of police officer J.D. Tippett. There will be no conviction. Two days after his arrest, Oswald was shot and killed by nightclub owner Jack Ruby. One Day in America takes a look back at those fateful days.
