More than 300 participants, representing over 80 countries, attended the Aflatoun Meeting in the Netherlands, where they were able to network, learn and be inspired by advances in new teaching methodologies. Aflatoun is an international non-governmental organization that helps 30 million children in 102 countries acquire financial literacy and social entrepreneurship skills.
ÖRAV “5 Pebbles” initiative, which Garanti BBVA has supported since its inception, It has reached more than 2,800 teachers and 60,000 students since 2016. It helps children develop a “can-do” attitude by encouraging them to find ways to manage money and resources, save money and find solutions to the problems around them. The program gets its name from a popular children’s game in Türkiye.
