There were two initial shows on broadcast networks Tuesday night, with average results.
neXt Season 1 Episode 1 started on FOX with 1.8 million viewers and a rating of 0.3 among adults 18-49.
Among adults between the ages of 18 and 34, the series was rated a Concerning 0.1.
Absolutely not a good sign for this series.
It ranks last among the Fall FOX Crop, below the premiere of Filthy Rich (3 million / 0.5 rating) and LA’s Finest (3.1 million Viewers / 0.5 rating).
Cosmos on FOX also has 1.3 million viewers and a rating of 0.3.
Swamp Thing, who started her life in the DC Universe last year, started with 1.1 million viewers and a rating of 0.2.
For a TV show that is an acquisition, that’s a great result, and the total viewership helps tie it to Supernatural as CW’s second most-watched series.
Not bad for a canceled show, right?
It would be interesting to see the series perform for the remainder of the season, but it could be a quiet winner for the network until the rest of the series returns in January.
Whose streak is this anyway? It is followed by 0.6 million viewers and a rating of 0.1.
Implant, which has emerged as the dominant force in lag, has an average of 3.1 million viewers and a rating of 0.4.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! The night started on ABC with 4.7 million viewers and a rating of 1.3.
Weakest Link had 4.7 million viewers and a rating of 0.8, while Ellen’s Game of Games had 3.5 million viewers and a rating of 0.6.
