Promo class makers HDM and Voordaan qualified for the Gold Cup semi-finals. Den Bosch also joined the Round of Four in the Cup Championship. Next week’s semi-finalist will be the Little Switzerland and Hurley match.
HDM canceled SCHC’s major division in the quarter-finals on Thursday. Therefore, the holder of the number three of the promotion category needed a penalty shootout, after the match in Belethoven ended with a score of 2-2 after the usual playing time.
Prior to that, it was second in the promotion category, 2-1 too strong for HBS at home, also a promotion category and ninth in the standings. Voordaan’s winning goal was made by Thomas van Battum. Groenekan took the lead in the match via Mike Huisman, after which James Drummond put 1-1 on the board.
Nijmegen, the fourth promotion division in the quarter-finals, did not advance in front of its home crowd against Den Bosch. Thanks to goals by Dylan Wortherspoon and Quinn Beijing, Bossche’s squad joined the final four of the Cup.
KZ-Hurley on March 23
The last Gold Cup quarter-final match between top leagues Klein Zwizerland and Hurley had already moved to March 23 early, because Hurley played a league match against Kampong in Utrecht tonight.
