Supermarkets across the UK have issued product recalls on a number of items this week amid warnings they could pose safety and allergy risks.
Sainsbury’s and Tesco are amongst those that have issued recalls on pre-packed rice and even pastries – and customers are being urged to return them to stores for a full refund, reports the Mirror.
The Food Standards Agency said Uncle Ben’s Brown Basmati ready to heat rice pouches are being recalled as they may contain glass.
When a food product is recalled, for any reason, Food Standards Agency provides details on what customers should do if they have bought the items, as well as detailed information on why the product is being pulled from shelves.
It said anyone with any of the items below should visit their nearest supermarket for a full refund.
