Janie van der Heijden and Andre van Duyne captured the hearts of viewers last night with their new show I’m thinking of Switzerland. The audience had to scream at the dry, weak and clumsy antics of the duo and the dog Nahan.
after Think of the Netherlands Janie van der Heijden, Andre van Duyne and the dog Nahan travel to Switzerland by train this time. According to classification expert Tina Nykamp, more than one and a half million people watched their adventures in the Swiss mountains last night.
The golden duo of Janie van der Heijden and Andre van Duyne
Van der Heijden has a lifelong fascination with Heidi and would love to see her cabin. Van Duyne responds in Van Duyne style: “Janie, are we going to Switzerland to look at Heidi’s cabin?”
Van Duin makes dry, funny comments. Van der Heijden laughs a lot about it. The two are equally goofy and clumsy and this makes for entertaining television.
Nan’s dog
The dog, Nahan, also plays an important role in the program, because he goes everywhere. For example, the animal is placed in a backpack and the animal is given a hat. Later the dog also gets boots for the cold and the animal regularly spends time on a sled in the snow.
Van der Heijden and Van Duyne decided to climb the Matterhorn. When Van Duin and Van der Heijden are lifted to the belt, Van Duin manages to turn it into a very dry spectacle once again. Later, the two get confused about the translation app on their phone not doing what they want.
At the end of the episode, Van Duyn is from Van der Heijden on sleds, and the two later try to get down the mountain, laughing. When the pair finally sit on the porch with a glass of wine and cookies, the day is discussed. Then the dog Nahan takes the whole pretzel. “Oh! Give it to that dog now,” says Van der Heijden. “Well, he’s taken it away,” said Van Duyne. “Really, I’m sick of those pretzels. There is absolutely no training for this dog.
Viewers are very excited to think about Switzerland
The viewing public seems to be very excited about the programme. According to viewers, it’s an evening I’m thinking of Switzerland Watching is good for the mood and there is a lot of laughter at the dry, cutesy and clumsy scenes between Van Duyne, Van der Heijden and the dog Nahan.

Very simple, humorous, sometimes a little silly, but also great. Enjoy this casual TV on Sunday evenings #Thinking_in_Switzerland #jannyenandre
