    Electronic visit visa (subclass 651)
    The eVisitor Australia is an electronic visa that can be applied for entirely online. The eVisitor is the most requested as it is the cheapest visa and the application process is quick and easy. Passengers holding one of the following nationalities are eligible for this visa: Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Croatia, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Czech Republic, Vatican City, United Kingdom, Sweden and Switzerland.

    Travelers from the United States, Canada, and some Asian countries cannot apply for an eVisitor visa, but they can apply for an ETA (subclass 601). Since the ETA is more expensive and has the same conditions and validity as the eVisitor visa, it is better for Dutch and Belgian travelers to apply for an eVisitor Australia visa instead of the ETA.

    The activities permitted by the electronic visit visa
    With an eVisitor you are allowed Work in Australia, But only if the Immigration Department considers the trip a business trip. The following activities are covered by a business trip and permitted with an eVisitor visa:
    • Attending conferences, trade shows or other gatherings
    Meeting with (potential) business partners
    • Negotiate business agreements
    • Undergo a non-medical study or training
    Combine one of the activities listed above with a vacation in Australia

    Not allowed activities:
    • Join an Australian organization
    Selling or providing products or services to consumers in Australia
    • Providing products or services to companies or organizations in Australia
    Work for which you are receiving compensation from an Australian organization (you may of course be paid by the employer, if located outside Australia)

    Apply for a visa online
    Do you comply with the above activities and do not reside in Australia for more than three consecutive months? Then you can easily apply for an Australia visa online, by filling in the online application form. This only takes a few minutes. After paying the visa costs, the application will be processed. On average, visas are granted within 5 days. After you have been granted the visa, you will receive the visa by e-mail. Print the visa or save it digitally on your phone or laptop so you can show it on arrival if prompted when checking the border.
