Wear OS 4 is distributed

The October 2023 software update includes an upgrade to Wear OS 4 and its features, several bug fixes, battery improvements, and performance updates for Pixel Watch users.

Move the clock
If you’ve updated your Pixel phone, you can now easily transfer your Pixel Watch to your new phone without having to factory reset it. Your devices will be synced and ready to use immediately.

Save and recover
Backup and Restore lets you securely back up your data and settings from your old Pixel Watch so you can easily switch to a new Pixel Watch and keep all your data, settings, and watch faces intact.

Google Calendar app
The new Google Calendar app comes pre-installed on the Pixel Watch with this update. You can receive alerts for events and tasks, view 30 days of your calendar, go to places, and even mark tasks as complete right from your wrist. You also have more ways to access your calendar, whether through a tile or complication, so you can always see important information.

Security features
Upgrading to Wear OS 4 gives you access to the latest and greatest security features – Safety Check, Emergency Sharing, and Emergency Information on Pixel Watch 1!

With Medical ID Information, you will always have your most important medical information at hand and can send it to participating emergency services in emergency situations (in supported areas).

With Safety Check and Emergency Engagement, you can rest easy when walking home alone at night, an early morning jog, or any other situation where you need a little safety net.
