1. Music Encounter Festival, Hand to Earth
Hand to floor are one of Australia’s most distinguished contemporary bands. The centerpiece of their music is Yolngu manikay (song cycles), a more than 40,000-year-old oral tradition from northeastern Arnhem Land, northern Australia. These songs exist to traverse a vast expanse of time and space, constantly creating what is called raki, the spirit that holds everything together. Music Meeting on November 21 invites you to experience the ancestral treasures hidden in each Yolngu homeland.

4. Paper beads workshop
During this workshop you will learn how to make beads out of paper. This can be done using magazine paper, wrapping paper, advertising flyers, etc. You can cut strips of paper and use a knitting needle or skewer to make all kinds of different shaped beads. Then of course you’ll go home with a homemade necklace!

5. Ascendant Virg
Ascendant Vierge is a French duo consisting of singer Mathilde Fernandez and producer Paul Seulle. The genre that Ascendant Vierge is often described as is chatty opera, and no matter how strange that sounds, it covers it perfectly. Fernandez’s voice seems to be able to do absolutely everything, and Seoul’s powerful beats drive the whole thing forward like an emotional freight train.
