As in previous Windows versions, there is also a secret key in Windows 11 that can be used to activate “God mode”. If this God Mode is activated, you can access all Control Panel entries within a folder and no longer have to painstakingly torture yourself with folders in Control Panel.
How to unlock God mode
To activate God Mode in Windows 11, first right-click on an empty spot on the desktop and then select New and then Folder from the context menu. Then right-click on the newly created folder, select “Rename” in the context menu and change the name of the folder as follows:
God set. {ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
The text in front of “.{” does not matter. It is only important that there is a word followed by “.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}”. After renaming the folder, the appearance of the icon changes. Folder name not displayed.

Windows Control Panel. This is useful, for example, if you do not know the exact name of the required setting. Or you just want all setup options in one place.

However, we also caution against using God mode: many of the settings are aimed at Windows professionals! Tampering with the settings can, in extreme cases, lead to a complete failure of the system.
Why is God’s position called “God’s position”?
Microsoft has included “God Mode” in many versions of Windows, at least since Windows 7. Microsoft developers use this secret, undocumented feature to give themselves faster, more direct access to all Windows functions.
It is also unlikely that Microsoft will call the function “God Mode” internally. The term actually comes from the gaming sector. Game developers used to hide “God Mode” in the code to better test their games. In the classic 3D shooting game “Doom”, for example, god mode can be activated after entering IDDQD, making the player invincible.
