Yoav Shemesh (19 years old) is from Australia and is in the Netherlands training in the circus. He currently lives in the nearby village of Moerkapelle, but will soon move to Rotterdam to be closer to his school.

Yoav’s brother is just as obsessed with juggling as he is. “Back home in Australia, we have been doing tricks, tricks and stunts from an early age. My brother is also training in the circus, but in Australia. Our dream is to perform together. Not in the circus, but on tour with her own show, at different events around the world.
For Yoav, juggling means magic. “I love surprising people and entertaining them with my tricks.”
Coming home for Christmas
He loves his studies, but is secretly looking forward to the Christmas holidays: “I hope I can go home for Christmas. I miss my family and my brother in Australia so much. I’m looking forward to playing juggles with him.”
