Starting next Tuesday, Yves Lambert will be hosting Everyone’s Famous on the One Show.
Each week has its own section. It will be called “The Road to Roubaix”. In it, reporter Wouter Depot follows the adventures of Deceuninck-QuickStep leader and his entourage in his ambition to win Paris-Roubaix for nine weeks.
Wouter Deboot has already been rotated for everyone is popular across America and Oceania. His passion for the bike is now driving him in the footsteps of Yves Lambert.
“Yves really wants to win Paris-Roubaix. That’s how De Weg naar Roubaix took shape, a series I’ve been following in the lead-up to that match, as well as one afterwards. From Tuesday, that series can be seen in nine episodes on Everyone Famous,” says Depot in Krant van West-Vlaanderen.
In Episode One we meet Lambert during the run-up to the Spring Races. He takes us through his volumes of articles about him and we discover why Paris-Roubaix is so important to him. We also know him as an ambitious racer, but above all as the son of a real-life farmer who has both feet on the ground. W: Uncle Gert still has something in store for him if he wins the Paris-Roubaix.
Perhaps this section should be translated every now and then, if the rider from Ingelmunster used West Flemish cycling terms again like skart’n, give her a huge skate, draw her…
